Emptiness and Belonging
Set in the serene, rural backdrop of Julia's private home and guest house, we will explore the role of “Emptiness” and “Belonging” and how it is reflected in the way we touch and choose our words in Rosen Method bodywork.
Over the course of the retreat, we will practice giving and receiving Rosen touch, explore the role of our words and our intentions, engage in dyads, demos, dynamic discussions and group process circles. We will delve into the question of what is our intention when we come to the table? What are we offering our clients? And how do we embrace the unknown and show up for the intimacy of connection? We will explore explicitly how we use our hands to touch, our words to connect, and are guided by listening to the response of the body.
By embracing our relationship to “emptiness” and the unknown, even before we bring our curiosity, we arrive in the present moment allowing it to unhurriedly unfold, perhaps budding into embodied awareness, resonance and connection. This retreat offers a unique space to refine your approach to bodywork and deepen your connection to both your practice and yourself.
