Our Vision

The vision of Rosen Method Open Center is to foster thriving communities where all feel seen, heard, touched, and can come home to themselves - and where
Rosen Method Bodywork and Rosen Method Movement transform lives in support of a kinder and healthier world.

Our Mission

Rosen Method Open Center exists to teach others about the transformative practice of
Rosen Method Bodywork and Rosen Method Movement.

● We explore, educate about, and practice safe human touch and movement.

● We access the unconscious through non-judgmental, careful attention to sensation, emotion, and physiology.

● We cultivate embodied awareness that inevitably connects with historical, developmental, and cultural strategies for survival. This process develops a greater capacity for resilience.

We offer this experience to those interested in personal development, certification as practitioners and teachers, and to professionals who want to broaden their skills (psychotherapists, massage therapists, physical therapists, nurses, etc.).

We provide programs to share and teach others about Rosen Method Bodywork and Rosen Method Movement, including private sessions, introductory workshops, ongoing classes, residential intensives, and continuing education.

Our Values

Our values provide the foundation for our organization in everything we do, as we work with each other, and with our students. We strive to embody our values, to learn from our shortcomings and to remain ever committed to these values as we enact our mission. These include, but are not limited to:

● Taking responsibility for the impact we have on others and others have on us, understanding we live in a mutually reliant global community.

● Recognizing the importance of equity and everyone’s need for belonging.

● Acknowledging differences with respect and care.

● Growing a sense of aliveness in ourselves and others.
