Theme: Delving Deeply As We Listen
Join us for an intimate, four-day retreat exploring the essence of Rosen Method somatic bodywork. This retreat explores how we delve deeply while following the principals of “listening, acknowledging, and waiting to see what emerges”. What are the embodied ways that we intervene and influence with active attunement? We will unpack the seemingly apparent contradictions of “being present with” and “doing”.
Set in the serene, rural backdrop of Julia's private home and guest house, we will practice giving and receiving Rosen touch, engage in dyads, demos, discussions, group process circles, and an art project. Through these practices, we will hone our skills of receptive listening, embodied words, attuned presence and listening touch while challenging the invitation to be passive. We will find more clarity in how we explore, question, and touch with active attunement creating an environment that supports a deeper connection to self, helps to release old patterns and invites new possibilities.
By embracing the complexity and nuances of Rosen Bodywork this retreat offers a unique space to refine your approach to bodywork and deepen your connection to both your practice and yourself.
